The Perfect “Paper” Anniversary Gift (for Him!)

My husband and I just celebrated our two-year wedding anniversary this week and I can hardly believe it (and very much so believe it at the same time). Marriage has been the best thing to ever happen to me and for the past two years it’s easily been the thing I get most excited about to celebrate each year. Finding “your person” can be a long, rough, winding road. Am I right, ladies?!

When we were asked if we wanted to be featured on the Paper Anniversary website, I immediately said yes. Not only because, in my extremely bias opinion, is our love story is the greatest in all the land, but also because I relish the opportunity to share with my readers products that I truly stand behind and know others will find real value in. I should also add that I do not write or promote things I do not have a firsthand experience with or haven’t purchased myself.

In my limited time celebrating our wedding I have opted for traditional gifts (ex: First year = paper, second year = cotton). For our first “paper” anniversary I wanted something unique that my husband would have forever. Naturally, I was way behind on gift buying and I couldn’t find anything that was “perfect.” Paper Anniversary came to the rescue. I had not come across anything like their men’s custom cufflinks. I opted to get the lyrics from our first dance, “Lay Lady Lay” by Bob Dylan. It’s amazing how much wording Anna can actually fit in such a tiny space! The product came fast (just in time for our anniversary), as expected and far exceeded my expectations. My husband loved them and was taken aback by the thoughtfulness of the gift.

My only regret is that I knocked to so out of the park (if I do say so myself) I had to outdo myself this year! Lucky for me (and our cotton anniversary) he did not own a French cuff-shirt *face palm.*
